Evaluation and Strategy Development Specialist, Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF)
Emerson Shiang (he/him/his) is a first-generation Chinese American whose parents immigrated from Taiwan. He currently works as the Evaluation and Strategy Development Specialist at APIAHF where he monitors and evaluates programs and organizational progress of COVID-19 AA NH/PI specific programs and a HIV CBO Capacity Building program. Emerson also works as a yoga instructor. He received his Masters of Public Health from San Francisco State University and takes special interest in AA NH/PI health, queer health, and interrogating concepts of power and sex through a sociological framework.
